Permanency Program (Pennsylvania)
The
State of Pennsylvania has a Post Permanency Program that provides
funding for agencies to assist any adopted child (international,
domestic, etc.) who is experiencing difficulties. The ultimate goal
of the program is to provide support to prevent disruptions. The
services include an assessment by a social worker, case management
services, support groups and respite services. Some families may be
eligible for limited funding (maximum of $400 per month) for therapies
and other supports. This service is available to Pennsylvania
residents.
Pearl S. Buck International is a provider of these services.
