How to Become a Member or Affiliate

JCICS Membership is open to any non-profit organization that provides permanency services for children, whose goals and policies are consistent with the Joint Council mission and values, including adoption agencies and home study or post-placement service providers, adoptive parent support groups, medical clinics providing services to internationally adopted children and their families, and child welfare advocacy organizations focused on permanency for children.

Joint Council is pleased to offer JCICS Affiliate status for non-members. JCICS Affiliates include students, individuals, and other organizations whose goals are consistent with Joint Council's mission, values, and standards.

REMEMBER TO APPLY BY JANUARY 30, 2008

Are you a Joint Council Member?

- Must be a licensed, non-profit organization

- Must provide permanency services to children

This includes: adoption services, homestudy, post placement and post adoption services, adoptive parent support services, medical services, and other advocacy services.

- Must have goals & policies similar to the JCICS Mission

Are you a Joint Council Affiliate?

- Are not eligible for Joint Council membership

- Are a college or university student with personal and educational goals consistent with the JCICS Mission

- Are an individual actively involved in the area of children's services or a related field

- Are an organization actively involved in the area of children's services or a related field
