Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2009 Joint Council Adult Adoptee Institute, Medical Institute and Conference. Our 2010 event is scheduled for March 17-20 at the Baltimore Sheraton City Center Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.

Latest News about the 2009 Joint Council Medical Institute & Conference:

• March 3, 2009 - As of March 3, Joint Council is no longer accepting advance registrations. We will accept onsite registrations at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis during the event. Onsite registrants are advised to arrive early and with appropriate payment.
   

• February 9, 2009 - Only one week remains for Conference early bird registration. Please visit our Registration page to register today!
   

• January 22, 2009 - Joint Council has extended the deadline for reserving an Exhibitor Tabletop or placing a Journal Message to February 20^th. Please visit our Exhibitor or Journal Message page for additional information.
   

• January 5, 2009 - Online registration is now open for our event! Register between now and March 2* to secure your spot in Indianapolis. (A $50 late fee will be added to registrations sent after February 16th.) Access our complete directions and online registration form on our Registration Page.
   

• October 1, 2008 - The deadline has passed for the 2009 Call for Presentations.  All who submitted a workshop proposal have been notified of Joint Council’s decision by email and/or letter.  We look forward to issuing our 2010 Call for Presentations next Summer.
   

• August 14, 2008 - Joint Council will extend complimentary registration for one presenter (or colleague) for each presentation selected.  Please visit our Call for Presentations page to learn more.
   

• August 1, 2008 - Joint Council has issued our Call for Presentations for the 2009 Medical Institute and Conference. All professionals involved in the fields of child welfare and nonprofit management are invited to submit proposals to present at the Annual Conference.  In addition, all medical professionals involved with international adoptions or other forms of orphan care (both domestic and international) are invited to submit proposals for the Medical Institute.

         by September 5, 2008, for consideration.
